Dear friend,
You have said, “Yes” to Jesus! Congratulations.
Becoming a Christian is the most incredible event that will ever take place in your life. You now have peace with God, your Creator.
You have found everlasting life!
You can be certain that God will never leave you nor forsake you.
He has brought you this far and He will complete the wonderful work that He has begun in you. God knows your every thought, your every care and your deepest concerns.
Now that you have said YES to Jesus and asked Him to live in your life, you will be amazed how your life unfolds. The truth is, there is no more important, life-changing decision that any person can make; and that includes marriage, career, or anything else that you can imagine.
As you will discover, your decision to trust Jesus Christ started with God’s plan made before the creation of the world. It affects every aspect of your present-day life; and will stretch on with amazing results as your destiny unfolds.
Over the next few weeks, we will take some time to understand what the Bible says about becoming a child of God.
I encourage you to make every effort to join us here each week and to become part of an EPIC LIFE group. It is so good to connect with others who have also discovered how good God is.

THE HOLY SPIRIT
INTRODUCTION
No one can live the Christian life using their own strength or wisdom.
We need the Holy Spirit for ‘life and power’ in much the same way that the police have both ‘authority and a pistol’.
The ‘power’ of a pistol enforces the ‘authority’ of the law.
WHO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT?

If you have not received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and you would like to, then this is your opportunity to respond to God by simply asking Him to fill your life to overflowing with His presence and power.
Get your small group leader or mentor to pray with you to receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOUR NEW SPIRITUAL LANGUAGE - AND THE GIFT OF TONGUES
SPEAKING IN TONGUES - is the initial evidence of the infilling of the Holy Spirit - called the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
It is your spiritual prayer language that does the following things.
Helps you pray under the direction of the Holy Spirit.
Edifies and strengthens you to overcome.
Changes the atmosphere around you.
Leads you into all truth.
Prepares you to prophesy.
THE GIFT OF BRINGING A MESSAGE IN TONGUES - is one of the nine gifts of the Spirit to the church - for the purpose of edification - exhortation - comfort.

IN CONCLUSION

If you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died on the cross for you and you have asked Him to be the Lord of your life; then you are His child and you have been ‘born again’.
There are no “secret agent” Christians – make sure you tell someone about your decision to believe in Jesus.
Determine to follow Him fully. If you haven’t yet been Baptised in Water and also in the Holy Spirit then speak to your small group leader and ask them to help you.
